Countering Violence by Promoting Social Justice

The Countering Violence to Promote Social Justice in Communities of Color program is organized by George Washington Universities, Bathsheba Philpott to spread awareness of violence and how communities can come together to create social justice. Working in the DC/Virginia area her townhall is held in Washington D.C. with four panelists selected: Minister Maurice Mack-Murrow of Matthews Memorial Baptist Church in Southeast D.C., Baltimore youth organizer Candace Chance, United News Network founder Tim Hudson, and Howard University MSA president Eric Powell
